Shayan H. Modarres, of the Modarres Law Firm is co-counsel of record for Benjamin L. Crump, attorney for the family of Trayvon Martin. On April 29th 2013, the Fifth District Court of Appeal accepted the brief co-drafted by Shayan Modarres, along with attorney Bruce B. Blackwell. The brief was filed in response to George Zimmerman’s Petition for Writ of Certiorari review seeking to review Judge Debra Nelson’s order denying Zimmerman, Mark O’Mara and Don West the ability to depose Benjamin Crump.
